Detroit Towing Association (DTA) is Southeast Michigan's Towing Authority representing professional towing companies. With a combined 608 years of experience, we proudly work side by side with police departments and other first responders, municipalities, private property owners, auto clubs and the driving public to help keep the streets, avenues, highways and freeways safe and orderly. As a professional association, we make recommendations on streamlining processes, making our work more efficient and effective for police, residents, businesses and visitors. We also advocate for the safety of all first responders and encourage all to obey the MOVE OVER Law.
Detroit Towing Association is partnering with Michigan State Police, CBS and CW50 to help "Save a Life," and educate the public about the MOVE OVER law in Michigan. Move Over. It's the Law in Michigan!
George Hunter's feature in The Detroit News depicts the very real dangers and traumatic experiences tow truck drivers face every day.
Harsh weather created a climate ripe for a few tow companies to prey on motorists. The DTA responds and informs motorists how to stay safe on WJR 760-AM and WXYZ - ABC 7
Shawn Ley of WDIV reports on a tribute to a beloved member of the Detroit Towing Association, Robert Lee Hardison of Bobby's TCB Towing. Rest in peace, Bobby! Together with your wife, Denise Boyce-Hardison, we will take it from here.
From clearing accident scenes and retrieving vehicles from the waterways, to towing busses, helicopters and semi-trucks, and retrieving stolen cars to removing abandoned cars, the Detroit Towing Association works 7 days per week, 24-hours per day to respond to the needs of our driving public.
Peggy Goodwin talks with Fox 2 Detroit's Ingrid Kelley about Detroit City Council passing an updated ordinance to support Detroit's Towing System and how the Detroit Towing Association has advocated for consumer protections and transparency for many years.
